Whoo it is for

For GPs working in extended ENT roles

This programme is for GPs seeing ENT patients in community clinics, across primary care, community and secondary care settings. Whether you are about to run your first clinic or you have been running them for years, it meets you where you are and fills the gaps.

Why This Exists

I built this because nothing else fit

When I started teaching GPs, I could not find a way to teach ENT that was thorough without being overwhelming. I had years of knowledge and experience, but GPs still did not feel fully clear or confident. So I broke down every step I take in clinic, every topic and every decision, and turned it into a simple, clinically focused framework. GPs followed it, and it clicked. They managed noses, ears, children and dizzy patients with confidence. Fewer rejected referrals, fewer unnecessary follow-ups, and far less anxiety on clinic days. ENT Extended is that framework, polished and put online for any GP who wants it.

What makes it different

Designed for your clinic, not a surgical career.

Other ENT courses are built for junior doctors on hospital rotations or trainees heading for a surgical career, so they go far deeper than a GP needs and focus on emergencies or operating. ENT Extended covers exactly what you need to manage ENT presentations referred into community clinics, and gives you a clear framework you can use immediately.

Meet your tutor

Ms Sonna Ifeacho

Sonna is a practising ENT Consultant with more than 10 years of consultant experience and over 5 years teaching and working alongside GPs in community ENT clinics, both seeing patients and leading the service. She has run countless GP teaching sessions and tutored GPs one to one, taking them from unsure to genuinely confident with ENT. She has put all of that into ENT First, and she hosts the monthly Q&A sessions herself.

"My goal is simple. To help you walk into clinic knowing you can handle whatever ENT comes through the door."

No, but some outpatient experience helps, such as reading referral letters, taking an ENT history, examining patients including microsuction and nasoendoscopy, and drawing up a management plan. If you have never seen ENT patients in outpatients, it is worth starting with ENT Essentials.
Yes. Once you finish the modules, the end-of-course quiz and the feedback form, you receive a completion certificate stating your total CPD hours.
